Throne Studios

About us

Two founders, one story studio

Throne Studios is an independent studio of two founders building StoryVeil — a visual novel app: a library of interactive stories with animated characters, where your choices decide how each story ends.

We split the work the way a film is made. Eva writes the stories and designs how every scene and character looks. Agshin turns that into code, art and animation. Together we built our own engine and a fully playable first chapter in three weeks.

The founders

Evelina Ziuzina

Evelina (Eva) Ziuzina

Co-founder · Author · Producer · Business

Eva is the author of our stories and the art director behind every scene. She also runs the business side: product, marketing, partnerships and operations.

Stories and worlds
Wrote Interference (sci-fi mystery romance, three books planned) and Kawaki (a post-apocalyptic saga with 40 written book chapters and a lore encyclopedia), with a full lore bible for each.
Film and media
Journalism degree from Odesa I. I. Mechnikov National University; studied film directing at Hanyang University in Seoul; background in video production.
Founder before
CEO of OMNIA, a brand of convertible dresses and design objects: six Kickstarter campaigns, all funded, from 255% to 3,167% of their goal.
Operations
Operations and automation lead at Workhold.AI, an AI startup: company payments, processes and automation. Earlier, business and operations management at an investment company.
Languages
Ukrainian and Russian (native), English (C1), Korean (TOPIK 4).
Agshin Ragimov

Agshin Ragimov

Co-founder · Tech · Visuals · Engine

Agshin is a senior full-stack developer who builds everything the player touches: the engine, the build and the visuals.

Engineering
9+ years in full-stack engineering and custom software architecture.
The StoryVeil engine
Built from scratch in Flutter: branching chapters, choices and paid choices, relationship scores and character stats. Playable builds for iOS and Android, plus the browser demo.
Art and animation
Produces the characters, emotion sets and animated backgrounds in our own pipeline, from Eva’s designs.
Story pipeline
A system for creating stories quickly and at high quality: scripts are written in Ink and run on our own Ink runtime; every chapter is automatically checked, built and published to the server, so new chapters reach players without an app update.

Where we are

We have gone as far as two people and our own money can take us

Everything below was built by the two of us, on our own time and our own savings:

  • The game

Our own engine; chapter 1 of Interference playable end to end, all branches working; choices, paid choices and relationship scores live in the build.

  • The look

Full cast with emotion sets, animated backgrounds, key art, app icon and a trailer.

  • The launch kit

Playable iOS and Android builds, a browser demo and our website, two stories ready for launch, a pitch deck and a go-to-market plan.

We are now at the point where every next step needs investment: chapters at the pace players expect (2–3 a month per story), the launch campaign, and the people who make both possible. Without funding we can keep building slowly; with it we launch about 8 weeks after signing.

Hiring plan

The team is lined up — it starts when the funding does

We have already met the people for each role, agreed on what they will do and how we will work together. They start as soon as the first tranche arrives. All roles are on contracts, paid from the round.

  1. 1At signing

    1–2 narrative writers

Write chapters from Eva’s story bibles, so every live story gets 2–3 new chapters a month.

    Artist / animator

Works in our pipeline with Agshin: characters, emotions, backgrounds.

  2. 2Before launch

    SMM manager

Runs Discord, Telegram, TikTok, Reels and Shorts, and works with genre creators.

    Video & trailer producer

Makes the short video series, trailers and ad creatives for the pre-launch campaign and paid user acquisition.

  3. 3From launch

    QA tester

Tests every build, chapter and payment flow before each update, so we can ship 2–3 chapters a month without breaking anything.

What we are looking for

A funding partner for the launch

The ask

$120,000

To launch StoryVeil ~8 weeks after signing and run it for six months: content, the team above, the English version and paid user acquisition. Released in three tranches, each against a result.

The deal

Project financing (revenue share), equity or a hybrid — open to discussion. Throne Studios OÜ (Estonia) is incorporated at signing; the funds, the game and all rights sit in the company.

The partner

Someone who knows games and payments. We are ready to integrate Xsolla payments and a web shop from day one, and we report to our investor every month.
